The economically active population of our country is 8.5 million people, of which 2.1 million (24.7%) are young people aged 14 to 29 years. Among them, 502.3 thousand are self-employed young people and 20.7% (104.2 thousand) are unproductively employed.

In addition, 50% of self-employed youth have specialized, secondary and general education, and 22% have higher education. 63% of unemployed youth have secondary vocational and higher education, 37% have no vocational education.

There are currently problems with non-student and non-working youth (NEET). There is a trend towards an increase in the share of young people in the NEET category (15-28 years old): if in 2011 their share of the total number of young people was 7.8%, then in the 4th quarter of 2016 it was 10%. (According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

According to experts, one of the reasons for these problems is the lack of proper vocational guidance and information and explanatory work among graduates of educational institutions.

In order to solve this problem, it is proposed to implement a standard project “TELEKTER TAKTASY” in all regions of the republic for graduates of educational institutions.

The goal of the project is to provide professional direction to graduates of educational institutions of the country to choose the right profession by informing them.

Project objectives:

Create comprehensive conditions for graduates for an informed choice of a future profession;
Attracting the ability of competent authorities to provide comprehensive information to graduates;
Creation of favorable conditions for the employment of young specialists;
By informing, give a professional direction to graduates of educational institutions of the country to choose the desired specialty;
Creation of conditions for job search with an indication of the real needs of the labor market;
Increasing opportunities for obtaining state support aimed at young professionals, as well as creating comprehensive conditions for young people for an informed choice of a future profession;
Raising the level of awareness of schoolchildren about the modern labor market and about the specialties in demand today in the regions and the republic.
